On Thursday, South Africa national team coach Hugo Broos announced his 23-man squad for next month's 2023 CAF Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Morocco, with a number of notable exclusions from his original 38-man preliminary squad.Among the 15 players who were not selected is Kaizer Chiefs star Keagan Dolly, who has since been confirmed as one of at least five players who was overlooked due to injury.
"You have [Keagan] Dolly, you have [Siyanda] Xulu, you have [Rushine] De Reuck, you have [Nkosinathi] Sibisi, you have [Siyabonga] Ngezana all injured," Broos said onWhile Dolly was originally named in the preliminary squad, his inclusion was alwaysBroos also used the former Montpellier star's absence as an opportunity to raise concerns over the number of players who suffered injuries towards the back-end of the campaign due to a perceived lack of player management.

One thng i like about the coach is selecting players he believe they can do the job for him not our favourites who continuosly failed to qualify.
