The 28-year-old shot stopper has established himself as the Soweto giant’s number one in goal and he earned a recall to the South African national team.
Bvuma returned to Naturena earlier in the week from Algeria, where Bafana Bafana competed in the 2024 FIFA Series, drawing“The vibe in the national squad definitely reflects more confidence than when I was last with them, obviously as a result of them doing well at the Afcon, so it was a really pleasant experience,” Bvuma said.
“It is a benefit for me because I get to work with top quality goalkeepers like Ronwen and Ricardo , and I am always looking to learn and improve,” he says. “For now, Ronwen is the number one and I must just wait my turn, but even if I don’t play, I value the experience and I return to Kaizer Chiefs a better goalkeeper.”Bvuma’s attention has already switched focus back to domestic matters and Kaizer Chiefs’ trip to the Mother City for a meeting with“It’s always great to get back with the team after a break,” he says, appreciating the warm welcome he received from his teammates on his return from national duty.
“The mood in the camp is good and everyone is looking forward to the game.
