Judges Anton van Zyl, Siraj Desai and Jacqueline Henriques delayed decisions.

According to the judicial norms and standards laid out in 2014 by Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng, judges are expected to deliver judgments within three months of the last hearing.

Among the 87 late reserved judgments, Judge Anton van Zyl of Pietermaritzburg High Court was responsible for four overdue judgments, including one that was reserved for judgment five years ago, and another six years ago. Acting Judge Keith Engers of the Western Cape High Court has been reported to the bar council, and will not be invited back to act in the division, according to Judge President John Hlophe.

Election campaigns fail to answer the question on all South Africans' mindsSouth Africans don't need any more criticism of the Zuma years. They have long critiqued that period while the ANC was pontificating about 'collective responsibility', writes Mpumelelo Mkhabela. MMkhabel The election period demands on all participants to outline a vision in a form of a manifesto then sell their ideas to the electorate, so the one with convincing message will win & at times expose faults of the opponent. I am struggling to understand the point of this opinion MMkhabel Hopefully Cyril Ramaphosa will make time in his busy campaign schedule to announce the 'fate' of the infamous advocates Jiba & Mrwebi SOON. As 'only he' has to come to a decision this cannot be dragged out to post election day !!🤔 MMkhabel We as a country are so far behind the first world , sweaters and packets of food for votes is so poor man syndromeish ,why can we not push the bench mark ,this poverty and mismatch of the poor is going to shoot us in the foot
