As Johannesburg Mayor Mpho Phalatse fought to hold onto her mayoral chain, parties in the multi-party coalition were at each other’s throats on Friday over who was to blame for the risk of losing control of the city.

JOHANNESBURG - This as newly elected speaker Colleen Makhubele convened a special sitting to deliberate over several motions including one of no confidence in Phalatse.

But as this unfolded, the Democratic Alliance and ActionSA took to Twitter, exchanging blows over who failed to uphold their end of the coalition government agreement. Leon, you are surely insulting South Africans about this Baaskap narrative. Your polarization of our fractured past in distasteful. You are a disgrace to our country. https://t.co/Bzk1C88UjT

Africa Live: Uganda rules out lockdown to contain Ebola - BBC NewsUganda’s President Yoweri Museveni has said that there is no need to impose restrictions in Ebola hotspots because the viral disease is not airborne. Ebola is spread through contact with an infected person or infected surfaces and human waste. 👉🏾 Please don't trust M7 and his broke government...they can do anything to get money from donars... It's because there is likely no Ebola. With all the corruption in KagutaMuseveni's NRMOnline government, this is probably another scam for health aid. Never mind that all the covid funds were 'diverted' to building apartments and shopping malls! Also gold has been found there. YatichN sarahkimani
