Jake White has reportedly opted to leave most of the Vodacom Bulls ’ key players at home for Saturday’s Champions Cup quarter-final against the Northampton Saints .
The Bulls will attempt to make history at Franklin’s Gardens by advancing to the semi-finals of the European cup competition for the first time. White’s charges face a formidable force in the Saints, who are unbeaten in the competition this season, although the men from Pretoria have lost just once in the EPCR tournament so far., White has hinted that 10 Springboks will miss the showdown for the Bulls.
Despite the absence of frontline players, the Bulls maintain depth with seasoned internationals like seasoned loose forward Nizaam Carr, who has emerged as one of the captaincy contenders with youngster Reinhardt Ludwig in the tour squad. This content is not behind a paywall and it is Habari Media's commitment that it remains so and access to the content is free.
