Director of GcinaMasiko Arts and Heritage Trust Gcina Mhlophe said it is important to preserve indigenous languages for the next generation.
"It is up to us to save the languages, to speak them, to celebrate them and to make sure that our children and their children will hear them.According to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization this year's theme is"languages without borders."
