Percy Tau's Egyptian journey could be coming to an end. The South African's poor fitness track record has become a concern to many in the club's management. Bafana coach Hugo Broos has also previously complained about Tau's poor physical health. PercyTau

The publication reported that Tau’s injury record has upset a section of the club’s hierarchy and they are considering releasing him over fears that he is injury prone., Tau has suffered an injury in his quadriceps and will be out for a month.

Percy Tau suffers an injury, withdraws from Bafana squad, replaced with Royal AM's Victor Letsoalo by Hugo Brooscoach, Hugo Broos, has replaced Percy Tau with Royal AM’s Victor Letsoalo for Bafana’s upcoming friendlies. Letsoalo was originally part of the provisional squad to take on Guinea and then France but did not make the final 23-man squad.

Percy Tau was included in the squad but suffered a knee injury during Al Ahly’s CAF Champions League fixture over the weekend, KickOff reported.No indication was given as to how long he would be out of action.
