IEC electoral system fell victim to vote rigging, says political expert

JOHANNESBURG - University of Johannesburg associate professor of politics Mcebisi Ndletyana said the Electoral Commission of South Africa’s electoral system had fallen victim to vote rigging.

Ndletyana said an even more worrying factor in the IEC's electoral process was the fact that the commission’s additional security mechanism, such as the barcode scanner, could not prevent people from voting multiple times.

Everyone one is focusing on the indelible ink and double votes. But what about the logistical 💩show of opening late and not having ballots in high density areas? How many people turned away because of this?

I think IEC shud re-register all thos who registered n start afresh,sme ppl registered twice which is unlawful,the marking was problematic

Go figure. Seriously, SA is a corrupted captured state. Why should elections be any different?

I'm shocked...... Not!!!
