MyBroadband tested a low-budget projector and we were blown away by the value offered.

I bought a R1,300 projector as part of a low-budget cinema experiment and was blown away by the value offered.

It may seem like an exceptionally low price, but these projectors regularly go on sale, making it possible to get a great deal. We fired it up, pointing it at a nearby wall and were disappointed by how it handled the brightness of a room with open blinds in the late afternoon. The manual focus and vertical keystone adjustment work well to get a clear image, although the keystone dial is very sensitive.

We mainly used a Xiaomi Mi Box S as an input device over HDMI and did not have problems streaming or watching locally stored content.

Illegal dumping costs the City of Cape Town over R300m a yearThe City's solid waste by-law enforcement unit has already issued a total of 1 405 fines this year, amounting to R1,3 million. The COCT likes illegal dumping because it provides opportunities for awarding of tenders. Then charge rates and taxes to all dwellings, then people will learn to respect and protect their area. Easy come easy go. If you don't contribute to the services rendered, then you won't care about the environment. I get very disturbed when I see such on the streets😤
