Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has been linked with a number of clubs in recent weeks however Safa claims the Belgian coach is staying.

Hugo Broos is set to remain with Bafana Bafana until his contract ends in 2026, the South African Football Association reiterated.According to reports, Broos is set to replace Jalel Kadri as the country’s football coach following their poor Afcon campaign.

The former Cameroon coach steered Bafana to a third-place finish at this year’s Afcon however, just days later, he was rumoured to be leaving South Africa. “The coach answered this very same question during a Zoom press briefing with South African media a couple of days ago, and nothing has changed. We are at training at the match venue as we speak,” SAFA’s head of communications toldSafa denies Broos link to Tunisian job BUT…

The 71-year-old has denied having negotiations with other teams, saying he was dedicated to the Bafana job.“I said already after Afcon that if you do well with a team automatically there is interest in you as a coach. “I heard rumours Algeria was interested, Tunisia was interested and some other teams, also Brugge now.
