According to a report, Matrix tracking company and Spesplan security received information on the location of a VW Polo which was hijacked at Mhala on 23 March 2024. The acquired information was operationalised and the team was led to a certain house where the VW Polo was found in the garage.There are possibilities that upon noticing law enforcement officers, someone could have fled to evade the arrest.
Whilst still inside the yard, the astute members did not only recover the hijacked car, but also a .38 revolver as well as live ammunition, grenades, some explosives and a brown bullet vest.Be as it may, the Provincial Commissioner of the SAPS in Mpumalanga, Lieutenant General Semakaleng Daphney Manamela has been overwhelmed by the recovery of the vehicle which was hijacked as well as the confiscation of a firearm with live ammunition.
