Power utility Eskom has published the latest load shedding schedule for the week.

As previously communicated, Stage 4 load shedding is currently being implemented. The schedule for the week continues as follows:From 05h00 on Monday, load shedding will be downgraded to stage 3 until 05h00 on Tuesday morning.Eskom said it will publish a further update as soon as there are any significant changes.

A generating unit each at Grootvlei and Matimba power stations were taken offline for repairs over the past 24 hours. The delay in returning to service a generating unit each at Arnot and Duvha power stations has contributed to the capacity constraints.
