Here is the new list of 22 high-risk countries on South Africa’s travel ban list

The new list indicates a significant decrease in countries from where travellers are not allowed to enter South African borders.

The department said that nothing had changed as far as all travellers from the continent of Africa were concerned. “In addition, we recognise that there are a number of regular visitors from mainly European countries that have been accustomed to long visits to our country during our summer season when it is winter in the Northern Hemisphere,” it said.

Do I have this right? Now British travellers can fly to South Africa if they're staying three months or longer? Do they need any authorization before leaving the UK for the RSA, other than their Covid-PCR certificate? Or do they need permission first, like business travellers?
