The Gauteng government has created a 21-day stay-at-home entertainment programme.

Hlophe said the entertainment programme would be available via the department's social media platforms to encourage people to stay at home during the 21-day lockdown.

“We have a comedy show taking place in the comfort of your home, with 10 of your favourite local comedians throughout the day entertaining society and lifting the mood while we stay home. The Lazy Makoti will also share ideas for quick-fix meals that people can prepare as a family bonding exercise. The messages will be shared throughout the 21 days of national lockdown by personalities including DJ Fresh, Caiphus Semenya, Letta Mbulu, Sello Maake ka Ncube, Mpho Popps and Les Da Chef.

R5,000 fine for breaking lockdown rules, says Gauteng chief magistrateSouth Africans who break national lockdown laws will be liable for fines of up to R5,000. No one is working how they going to pay These such people must be prosecuted. We not fools by complying to the law. No one enjoyes sitting and doing the same thing over and over with no change. They must be jailed!! Its not necessary to fine them, because they won't pay anyway. Just kick their dam ass and they will learn a lesson or two. Use this lockdown to teach people that if there are laws everyone is expected to abide by those laws otherwise the consequences would be harsh.
