Gauteng has 3 583 confirmed cases and has recorded 31 deaths related to Covid-19 since the start of the outbreak

related to Covid-19 since the start of the outbreak, according to statistics released by the Gauteng Department of Health on Saturday.

Out of the 13 136 contacts that were traced , 10 190 have completed the 14-day monitoring period with no symptoms reported and have been de-isolated. A total of 332 people are currently hospitalised in private and public medical facilities, the department said.In the sub-districts outside the metro, three areas within Johannesburg are the biggest contributors in terms of positive cases. which has recorded 258 cases and
