From MissUniverse to MissWorldLtd 2019: 'The Big Four' international pageant calendar

The opening ceremony will be held in London, with each contestant competing in a series of fast track events that guarantee a place in the top 30.

The last Miss World to be crowned in London was our very own Rolene Strauss in 2014. Before her, Anneline Kriel won in 1974, and Penelope Coelen won in 1958. The current Miss World is Vanessa Ponce of Mexico who was crowned on 8 December 2018 in Sanya, China.
