From insurance rep to 27s gangster: Lifman witness describes initiation in a garage

Mr X, the first witness in the trial of Mark Lifman and others for the murder of steroid dealer Brian Wainstein, testified about his initiation into the 27s gang when the trial resumed in the Western Cape High Court on Monday.

However, the accused in the dock laughed at him during his testimony, even though two of the people who arranged his initiation were murdered. A third person initiated after him was also murdered. Mr X is testifying in the trial of Lifman, alleged Sexy Boys gangster Jerome Booysen, security company boss Andre Naude, Sam Farquharson, police officer Wayne Henderson, Ricardo Maarman, Typhyenne Jantjies, Bevan Ezaus, Bradley de Bula, Kashief Hanslo, Rowendal Stevens, Ismail Cupido, Igor Russol and Norman Egan.South Africans need to be in the know if we want to create a prosperous future.
