France manager Didier Deschamps has explained his shock decision to recall N'Golo Kante for his 2024 UEFA European Championship squad.On Thursday, it was confirmed that the experienced midfielder, playing his football currently for Al Ittihad in Saudi Arabia, has been included in Les Bleus' Euro 2024 squad.
The 33-year-old has been capped on 53 occasions for France since his debut in 2016 and was part of the squad that lifted the 2018 FIFA World Cup trophy in Russia. "He had a full season, certainly not in a European championship but he has regained all his physical abilities.
