Reggie Sibiya, CEO of the Fuel Retailers Association spoke with eNCA's Tumelo Mothotoane about the price increase. Courtesy ofJOHANNESBURG - The Fuel Retailers Association says the Automobile Association must not create false hope for motorists after it called for the government to review the fuel price following the latest hike.
The FRA's Reggie Sibiya said"the question we should ask ourselves is what exactly are we reviewing? Because when you come, it should be because you have some empirical evidence."So the AA should be specific and say these elements in the pricing structures we believe are not properly calculated for that will be more meaningful."
Sibiya said the AA should be realistic rather than giving motorists false hope and provoking anxiety.
