A local football agent is warning against fraudsters after attempts to scam himself and one of his players in the DStv Premiership.
In recent years, many in the fraternity have been victims of fraudsters who scammed them of their hard-earned money and that of those close to them using different methods of trickery. In the latest incident, local agent Ratshibvumo Mulovhedzi of Rush Hour Sports Management says attempts have been made by the fraudsters to scam himself and his client Maloisane Mokhele of Chippa United.
“This is to warn people out there to be vigilant as there are fraudsters who are doing everything to steal from them. They tried it with me but luckily, I didn’t fall for their trap. I received suspicious messages on WhatsApp from a person who claimed to be Marumo Gallants official Rufus Matsena. But what this person was saying didn’t make any sense and I suspected that something was wrong.
