President Cyril Ramaphosa replied to questions raised in the National Council of Provinces on Thursday, where he was quizzed about a wide range of issues including Eskom, gender-based violence and the economy.None of Eskom's power stations is up for sale. “Which power stations will we sell? Are we selling the ones that are closing or are we selling the new ones? In my book, we are not selling the new ones because they are the crown jewels of Eskom.
He also maintained that Eskom would not be privatised as has been widely speculated, but will be split into three entities.Ramaphosa said the defence force and the Border Management Authority would work together to ensure that there was no unregulated influx of immigrants.
