Firefighters battle Stellenbosch fire, two other blazes contained as strong winds persist

Firefighters are still battling a fire on Simonsberg in Stellenbosch which continues to burn out of control, while fires that were raging on Papegaaiberg, also in Stellenbosch, and Michell's Pass near Ceres have been brought under control.
