A fire fuelled by strong winds has ravaged at least nine properties in the Glencairn area near Fish Hoek .
Efforts are underway by the Energy Department to restore power lines and supply in several affected areas, including Claremont, Fish Hoek, Athlone, Durbanville, Mfuleni, Kuilsriver and Plumstead.
