“The arm of the law is long. Those who have stolen from the state may believe they got away with it, but their deeds will eventually catch up with them, whoever they are and whatever position they may hold.”

This was the stern warning issued by President Cyril Ramaphosa on Monday to those who have stolen from the state.

“They told me what I have heard in many other communities across the country: that the perpetrators of such acts are known, not least because they flaunt the proceeds of their crimes,” he said. Ramaphosa cited the establishment of the Special Investigating Unit alongside the Special Tribunal in 2019 as one of the country’s most effective weapons in the corruption fight.

“There can be no doubt the Special Tribunal has been a game changer. Since its establishment, the tribunal has recovered around R8.6bn from unlawful contracts.” “I have said before that winning the war on corruption will be difficult, and that it will take time to unravel the vast webs of patronage that had become entrenched.”

CyrilRamaphosa we pay you. We pay the bee quotas you appointed and we can demand from you. Don't divert attention like you did with your lies about farm murders. The private sector fire more people than you do at the MYANC.

Cyril was never against corruption as he's the product of corruption himself.

Putin reportedly offered Middle East fighters R45,000 per month to fight UkrainePutin has approved 16,000 volunteers from the Middle East to be deployed alongside the Russian military after strong Ukrainian resistance. I would take it purely to drain the monsters then get everyone to pretend while hiding in a safe house or simply just flip. That will make them heroes once it is over. I know rather immature talk but isn't that war. Always instigated by the dumb. BISouthAfrica I'm going BISouthAfrica Might as well go work for Putin

EXPLAINER | Is it legal for foreigners to fight for Ukraine? | News24March 14 - As thousands of would-be fighters from outside the country volunteer to help Ukraine defend itself against Russia's invasion, some may also face legal consequences in their home countries. As they should? It's law in basically every country for a reason. Would we allow SA citizens to fight for ISIS? Surely only of you are part of the military for your own country though. Not for civilians These people are heroes . Leave them alone
