Cape Town – The new film adaptation ofBased on the bestselling novel by Dalene Matthee, it tells the story of Fiela Komoetie, a hardworking coloured woman living in the arid Karoo, who takes in a lost white child and raises him as her own.

Nine years later, Benjamin is removed from her care and forced to live in the Knysna Forest with a family of woodcutters who claim that he is theirs. Separated by law and geography, Fiela and Benjamin spend the next decade trying to find each other while simultaneously coming to terms with their identities.

The movie which stars Zenobia Kloppers as Fiela Komoetie and Wayne Smith as Benjamin SR had its premiere at the 2019 Silwerskerm Festival where it won the People's Choice Award.But have you heard about Fiela se ander Kind? Ahead of the film's release a viral clip starring veteran actress June van Merch and Bennie Fourie resurface.

In the one minute clip the pairs give their take on the iconic bathtub scene for the Festival's Awards ceremony, for which they were hosts.
