FF Plus says Lennit Max's claims of racism as reason for quitting party unfounded

JOHANNESBURG - The Freedom Front Plus said it couldn’t accept reasons put forward by Lennit Max that he was leaving the party because it’s a"racist Boere" party.

Wessels said the party believed in giving equal opportunities for all, pointing out that Max held several posts in the FF Plus, including being a provincial deputy chair and serving in its national council.Wessels also took a swipe at Max - who’s been part of the Independent Democrats , African National Congress , and Democratic Alliance - for playing musical chairs across the political landscape.

"We wish Lennit Max all the best with his future endeavours. We cannot accept that what he is claiming is the actual reason why he's leaving the FF Plus, as he’s left many other political parties in the past and it seems as though it's not a coincidence, and it is quite a pattern."
