R500-million Covid-19 Gauteng hospital contract was irregularly awarded — SIU - The Mail & GuardianIn January, the M&G reported that the SIU was looking into the “waste” of R500-million that was meant to add 175 Covid-19 intensive care beds to Gauteng’s total bed count for the pandemic, because the province was battled with apparent shortages. So one costs more than R2.8 million🤯. What sorts of beds are these anyway?🤔 So there was no waste of R500-million. This was Not Criminal or Negligent when our citizens were Dying & Urgently Needed care & it was rather decided to Spend Tax Payers Money on a hospital that for all intents and purposes does Not Actually Exist. And G-d watched in horror.

Puleng LenkaBula: The ‘tipping point’ leader is Unisa’s first black woman vice-chancellor - The Mail & GuardianOn 2 September the University of South Africa (Unisa) inaugurated its first woman vice-chancellor, Professor Puleng LenkaBula. She is also the first black woman to lead what is Africa’s only mega-university. Bona, we celebrate this achievement. Congratulations to the Vice-Chancellor. We love you Madamme UNISA is a mess. I am currently registered there. She will need all our support to turn it around. And so, being the first 'black whatever' make her what? I may have been the first 9 year old to pilot a Supercub plane and the first 19 year old 'live tv' director. So what? How many minorities in the World have pioneered stuff and excelled? So what? Unisa a sad seemingly mess.
