NO - gas condensate / gas / oil discovery off South Africa's coast will NOT boost the SA economy. It will enrich the connected elite. Venezuela is a case in point. Despite having 25% of world's oil reserves its bankrupt. In Africa we can look at Nigeria and Angola.
