When Ngezana arrived at FCSB, he did not have a smooth sailing ride at the club. He joined the team late from Chiefs, due to some visa issues. He then finally took to the field and was culpable for a goal conceded on his unofficial debut. What was positive about that, however, was that the was handed the captains armband on debut.
On to official matters on the field, it took a long time for Ngezana to finally make his official debut for FCSB. Before then, he was failing make the match day squad, with the club president making hints of an early exit. The former Chiefs man turned it all round, however, first getting himself into the starting line up on a regular basis. From there, he started winning Man of Match awards and being part of the Romanian league’s Team of the Week.
