eThekwini to elect deputy mayor next week following council collapse

“It is reckless and it's costly for the council. It's something we can't keep quiet about because when we are here there are costs involved. "For other councillors, from other political parties to decide not to come to council on time and abuse the rule that says after 30 minutes if there is no quorum the speaker must cancel the meeting."
