Eskom to announce CEO soon, says Ramaphosa

File: Eskom has been hobbled by technical and financial problems, and implemented days of power cuts last week after a number of its generating units broke down.said on Monday that the government will soon announce a permanent chief executive for state-run Eskom after the struggling power utility reintroduced rolling blackouts last week.

The crisis-hit utility, which produces more than 90 percent of South Africa's electricity, has been hobbled by technical and financial problems, and implemented days of power cuts last week after a number of its generating units broke down.

Hope whoever is announced as CEO would be left alone to do the job. Otherwise there is no point, the president might as well appoint Gordhan as CEO, Chair and Shareholder representative. All will be well 🙈
