Eskom promises no loadshedding on Sunday during the day

Stage 6 loadshedding will still be in effect until Friday morning, but Stage 4 and Stage 2 are planned for Saturday.

That means that from 05:00 to 16:00 on Sunday, there will be no loadshedding. We’re trembling in anticipation. Whether Eskom manages to keep its promise of no loadshedding on Sunday during the day remains to be seen. As of Thursday afternoon, 17 863MW of generating capacity is unavailable due to unplanned breakdowns while 2 437MW of capacity is unavailable due to planned maintenance.
