‘What we are trying to do is to bring those that can help [and] we are willing to work with them.’

JOHANNESBURG - Eskom CEO Phakamani Hadebe has defended government’s decision to bring in external engineers from Italy to assist the beleaguered power utility with its challenges.

“I think this [load shedding] is a challenge and everyone is aware of the impact it will have on the South African economy, and for that we are apologizing. There’s nothing wrong about government deciding to bring in additional experts to come and assist in moving this forward. And I think it will be very naive of us to assume that we are the only ones who can solve this.”

What about South African engineers ? Are they not capable ?

Are we able to do anything without help? Asking for a friend

The plan is to borrow more money so they can line their pockets and not fix a fucking thing

Hell, let's force out the skilled white south Africans we have so we can bring in a foreign work force how sad the genius mentality of the MYANC is with their affirmative action plan

It is said South Africans stage 4 load shedding to be with us for the next 6 months.

It doesn't matter if they need to get people from Antarctica just fix it
