Eskom is obstructing SA’s desperately needed growth. It is making a tripartite demand – to government to spend money it does not have; to households to pay more for less electricity; and to businesses to pay more for producing less, writes Jason Musyoka

The first is that they are unable to produce as they should due to extended downtime due to Eskom’s recurrent power cuts.

Besides, genuine businesses are established with the principle of self-sustainability so that they do not have to rely on state support for survival. It is impossible for South Africa’s economy to industrialise in any meaningful way under such conditions. The pressure of such management on households and businesses is largely in the shadows of public analysis.

it's tough in africa....... ne!!

The unbundling strategy is to get Eskom to compete with itself 🙈. It’s a no brainer that this is pure cannibalism. This will take the organization down fast as it feeds on itself 🙈. The strategy is sure to fail, and this will pave the way to privatization. Watch the space 🙈

It's not Eskom but some individuals who wants to loot more or even divert attention while emptying the public purse. Last loadshedding was staged and money made. Lots of it. This must be investigated.

jasonmusyoka has zero knowledge of Energy or Eskom... almost as bad as hawiknowledge1. energyexperts fakenews

There arebno strategies that can ever fix issues of Eskom & all other SOE's except holding people who looted Eskom accountabl, sell all their assets and return the tax payers money to where it belongs. Another that they'll keep on singing the same song & lying to us.

🙄😴
