Eskom implements stage 1 load-shedding until 11pm

According to Eskom, pumped storage schemes have been sufficiently replenished.

It says it will continue to work to improve on the levels of diesel at open cycle gas turbine generators. "Our intention is, however, to use as little diesel as possible to manage our costs. Our diesel generators will therefore only be used in the event of emergencies to back up our other units." Eskom asks customers to reduce demand as a concerted collective effort can help to avoid or reduce the level of load-shedding.

What’s the point of Eskom_SA labeling the load shedding stages when there’s no longer a difference between them. Stage 2 was 4hrs long yesterday. Stage 1 was 4hrs long today. Yekani ukusibanxa Eskom.

In Jan (2018) Pres Ramaphosa said Eskom had surplus capacity but now we are told almost everything is breaking down at Eskom. Initially they said it was due 2 wet coal, and they also told us it was in part due to sabotage. There is nothing consistent & tangible.

There is a determined effort from these ANC bourgeoisies to break down Eskom, and sell to their capitalist masters. The strategy is to defund Eskom, engineer a crisis, let it breakdown , frustrate the people to be able to accept anything as a solution.

We've been suffering from 'undercover loadshedding'...when you have your 'normal' 4.5 hours a day then a few hours later you are off for 6 plus hours...sneaky...
