England's eye-catching player earnings at EURO 2024 'revealed'

EURO 2024 gets underway on 14 June in Germany, with the tournament set to run for a month before concluding on 14 July.As such, there has been much anticipation over who will make the final cut of England 's squad, with head coach Gareth Southgate expected to announce his final selection on 8 June, a day after his side's last warm-up friendly against Iceland.

With the Three Lions squad set to be reduced from 33 men to 26, how much each player who will board the flight to Germany will earn per game at the tournament has now seemingly been revealed., each England player will earn £2 000 per game, although that fee likely to be boosted by a bonus structure determined by the English Football Association.

Meanwhile, it is understood that Tottenham Hotspur star James Maddison will not make the Three Lions final 26-man squad for the showpiece, and left the training camp on Wednesday night with the national team coach. It is also believed that it has already been decided that Liverpool stars Curtis Jones and Jarell Quansah will also be cut after being included in the preliminary selection.

"The great thing is we have got through the last few days with no big problems," England boss Southgate said ahead of deciding his final squad. "I may have a few more selection headaches after tonight but that's a good thing. I would rather we had good performances that caused you to think than poor performances. There were lots of individual things I was really pleased with.
