The SOEs are nothing other than plundering pots and sheltered crony employment. They add no value, build nothing, maintain nothing. All such projects are outsourced, with a 50% burden of cost in BEE. They should be privatised in the open market.
This is simply not true. If it was only governance, that would be relatively easy to fix. These SoEs represent structural problems and that needs to be solved.
