East Coasters join hands to clean up on Mandela Day

On Mandela Day, people across the world are spending at least 67 minutes of their time doing community service in remembrance of the legacy of former president Nelson Mandela.”It’s very important for us to give our time back for all the time Madiba has given us. So, we are happy to be here and to do our bit for the cleanup.”East Coast Radio, Aquelle, the KZN Sharks Board, Golden Arrows Football Club, eThekwini Municipality, and other organisations have come together for the beach clean-up.

“So today we really wanted to make a meaningful difference by sending our teams to clean up some of the rivers and parts of the coastline along our province.”
