The body of a dumped baby was found after it washed up in a stormwater drain in Durban on Friday following heavy rains.Emergency services on Friday rushed to the scene of another incident in Durban where a baby was discarded down a stormwater drain - only to find that the child was dead.
While details were still emerging on Friday afternoon, Rescue Care spokesman Garrith Jamieson said it appeared that the foetus had been"dumped" in the drain. The body had washed up in recent heavy rains. Emergency workers were dispatched to the scene in Mountbatten Drive, Reservoir Hills, after being called out by police and community members.
