DStv Premiership Report: Chippa United v Marumo Gallants 26 February 2022

The Chilli Boys gave Namibian goalkeeper Lloyd Kazapua his debut in the line-up while Gallants handed former Orlando Pirates defender Tshepo Gumede his first start.

The visitors gained momentum and Ndlondlo eventually broke the deadlock on the half-hour mark with a low chip past Kazapua in a one-on-one after a defence-splitting pass by Miguel Timm. Kurt Lentjies made a double tactical change at half-time, as Patrick Mokhele replaced Thokozani Sekotlong and Tebogo Makobela came on for Thabiso Lebitso.

Bahlabane Ba Ntwa were holding back Chippa in their own half, searching for chances and Katlego Otladisa came close to snatching the equaliser 22 minutes before time with a curling shot that came off the outside of top post.
