South African National Blood Service was celebrating World Blood Donor Day. CourtesySANBS says donor blood is used everyday to save lives.South Africans are being urged to go out in their numbers to donate, to maintain a stable supply of safe blood.

The SANBS is raising awareness about the importance of donating blood and it is also using a unique service to access hard to reach places.
