Dissecting the Aarto demerit system D-day quagmire

It remains to be seen whether the Aarto demerit system will be implemented on 1 July 2021 or not, with the agency in charge of implementing it equally unsure.

Currently the process is characterised by preparations and seized with ensuring readiness for the roll out of the system so the demerit system might as well kick in on the second phase of the implementation, once all the preparations were in place,” he said.
