With South Africa having a wide range of overseas-based talent, you might be forgiven for forgetting some of them. Darren Smith recently tied the knot and here's a look at his stunning wedding!

Marriage is widely considered to be a thing of beauty and it represents a life-long commitment between romantic partners. Now, Cape Town-born starlet Smith has ceremoniously shown his devotion to his partner Courteney in a beautifully styled wedding.The story of the groom Smith is a former SuperSport United forward who spent who left South African shores to join Finland outfit Ekenas IF. After spending just one year with the club, he then moved to Finnish first-tier side Honka in January 2021.

The 25-year-old Capetonian had his deal expire at the beginning of 2022 and remains a free agent as of now. However, before his contract lapsed, the striker returned home to have his wedding, which was held in Cape Town just days before Christmas. This week, Smith revealed the pictures of his glorious ceremony and a scroll through the gallery above may just be worth your while!Before moving abroad in 2020, Smith began his career at Ajax Cape Town, which is now called Cape Town Spurs, before playing for the likes of AmaZulu, Vasco Da Gama, Santos FC, Ubuntu and Supersport.
