Advocate Dali Mpofu could be heading to the National Assembly after picking up the third slot on the EFF list for parliamentary candidates.
As expected, EFF leader Julius Malema and his deputy, Floyd Shivambu, took the top two spots on the party’s candidate list. It was submitted to the Electoral Commission of SA on Wednesday. Fees Must Fall activists Naledi Chirwa and Vuyani Pambo are number 30 and 31 respectively. EFF Gauteng chair Mandisa Mashego tops the list for the party in the province.The EFF won 6% of the national vote in 2014, which netted 25 seats, and is expected to continue the kingmaker role it took on following the 2016 local government elections.
