Cyclist angry court gives back licence to driver who knocked him down

Garth Pasha, 27, was released on R5 000 bail in December and as part of his bail conditions, the state revoked his licence due to the seriousness of the charges.

Pasha is charged with reckless and negligent driving, driving under the influence of alcohol, and attempted murder after he allegedly knocked down cyclist Dewald van der Westhuizen and his coach, Mike Moriarty, in Simon's Town Main Road.
