Police union SAPU says it is not impressed that its members are not being prioritised, following an announcement that police officers are expected to be vaccinated immediately after teachers.

Police officers, and others who form part of the security cluster, are expected to be vaccinated immediately after the vaccination of teachers. This was revealed on Friday by the Deputy Director-General of Health, Dr Nicholas Crisp, during a briefing on the progress of the government's efforts in the fight against Covid-19, including an update on the national vaccination rollout programme.
