Experts say politicians trying to profit from the Covid-19 panic with bizarre and bogus"wonder cures" hark the country back to the days of HIV denialism when misinformation was the order of the day.

Critical Care professor at the University of the Witwatersrand, Guy Richards, has warned that the government will need to roll out a mass vaccine education programme, alongside its national programme, to ensure close to 67% of the population is vaccinated.
