The Covid-19 death toll has risen by 414, according to the latest bulletin from Health Minister Zweli Mkhize.In the Free State there were 122 deaths."This brings the cumulative number of deaths to 9 298," said Mkhize who is expected to visit Covid-19 treatment facilities in KwaZulu-Natal on Thursday"to better understand" the problems as the peak looms.
The two-day visit will begin with the official handover of a Covid-19 facility in Richmond, and a walkabout at Clairwood Hospital. Mkhize will also meet with officials managing the province's response to the pandemic. The number of recoveries has climbed to 377 266, translating to a recovery rate of 71%.
