The Pretoria High Court has ruled in favour of the family of Collins Khosa, who died after allegedly being assaulted by SANDF members for violating lockdown regulations

The suspension is in effect pending an investigation of both the SANDF officers and the JMPD members.

The family had approached the court with an urgent appeal seeking an independent investigation, not one run by the Office of the Military Ombud. He argued that minimal coaching appeared to have been given to SANDF officers, while it was unclear if any teaching on how to use minimum force to deal with citizens was given to their counterparts, the SAPS.

DA, FF+ head to court to challenge lockdownGovernment is coming under fire from opposition parties for its lockdown regulations. Why thou? Whilst I agree that the economy should be protected people in the western cape are not adhering to any lock down laws, they are not even practicing social distancing. They are doing more tests but they are also the most disobedient province. Poor leadership! The RLF is calling upon the government to keep our Security Forces on our Streets until the next National General Election to deal with gangsters, criminal syndicates, murder, home & business robberies. Yes. Well done. For once DA and FF plus are headed in the right direction. Let's hope sanity will prevail.
