The business confidence of contractors in KwaZulu-Natal jumped by 23 points to an almost 8-year high of 49. Source: BER According to the government, nearly 4,000 homes had been “completely destroyed”, over 8,300 homes were partially damaged, and 40,000 people had been displaced.
